The Georgia Bridal Bash

Georgia Bridal Bash

Oh-Brides.com is pleased to announce our 3rd Annual Georgia Bridal Bash Bridal Show, Sunday January 8th 2012 at the Macon Marriott Centreplex Convention Center. Georgia Bash Show is an extravaganza of wedding professionals, floral designs, music, entertainment, caterers, and a must see fashion show to assist future brides and grooms in planning their wedding. Last year show was a tremendous success with 70 vendors and over 500 guests and a special appearance from David Tutera host of WE TV ‘s “My Fair Wedding”

On March 6, 2011 Oh-Brides.com hosted its 2nd annual Georgia Bridal Bash at the Macon Marriott City Center Hotel. This year, brides-to-be were treated to a special surprise, David Tutera, host of WE TV’s My Fair Wedding.

Future brides and their families got a chance to meet with some of Central Georgia’s top wedding professionals and listen to wedding planner extraordinaire, David Tutera, share his wedding secrets to the brides-to-be.

Vendors arrived bright and early Sunday morning to set up their booth; some even stayed and started their booth setup late Saturday evening.

Brides, their families and friends and even a few grooms, lined up outside the Marriott’s doors with their tickets in hand, waiting to catch a glimpse of what was inside. From caterers to florists to venues, the Georgia Bridal Bash presented the brides-to-be with over 70 vendors from almost every aspect of wedding planning.

Once inside guests were treated to food and cake samples from the different vendors and many offered special discounts for the day. Brides were also able to personally speak and ask questions to the vendors themselves. Future grooms were not left out as a “Groom Room” was decked out with flat screen televisions and game tables for their enjoyment.

About halfway through the bash, guests filled the Marriott’s ballroom to watch the fashion show. Featuring attire from Taka’s Bridal Boutique and Colleen’s Bridal, guests watched as models, trained by Michael Johnson, strutted down the runway with music provided by AJ the DJ in the latest designs in bridal gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses and men’s formalwear. After the fashion show, live models were hoisted onto platforms and guests were able to look closely at the intricate details of the beautiful dresses.

Finally it was the time that everyone had been waiting for…David Tutera!!! AJ the DJ had the crowed pumped up and a loud roar of applause and screams welcomed David to the stage. The crowd hung on to David’s every word as he shared his personal stories of wedding planning and experiences from his hit show, My Fair Wedding. He even shared tips and held an intimate Q & A session with his guests. After his presentation, David even treated his faithful followers to personal pictures taken by Darrell Moye and Lamar Harvey from Moye Photography.

Oh-Brides.com would like to thank everyone that helped and participated in this year’s show. We hope to see you next year!!!
